Album Details
2002's One Beat is Sleater-Kinney's sixth studio effort, issued on Kill Rock Stars and produced by frequent collaborator John Goodmanson who also helmed the group's definitive albums Call the Doctor, Dig Me Out and All Hands on the Bad One. Rich and layered, One Beat finds the trio at the top of their game and as urgent and passionate as ever offering up poignant observations on 9/11 and motherhood as only they can.
The album has been freshly remastered by Greg Calbi for this release. This reissue coincides with Sub Pop’s October 2014 release of remastered versions of Sleater-Kinney’s six other full-length albums, as well as a limited-edition, deluxe vinyl box set featuring all seven albums.
