Pink Floyd
The Endless River 2XLP
Pink Floyd Records continues the reintroduction of Pink Floyd's legendary catalogue on vinyl for the first time in over two decades with a 180g 2LP reissue of 1994's The Division Bell, the long awaited follow-up to 1987's A Momentary Lapse of Reason, second sans Roger Waters and the band's last studio album for 20 years.
The multi-million selling Division Bell found David Gilmour and the trio configuration of the band on a creative roll, with Richard Wright contributing to some of the writing and Gilmour forging a new writing partnership with his wife, the novelist Polly Samson. Bob Ezrin and Gilmour co-produced the album, with soaring orchestral arrangements by the late Michael Kamen. Home to the Grammy Award winning track "Marooned" and latter day classic "High Hopes," The Division Bell debuted at No. 1 in the UK and in the US, lingering at the top of the US charts for 4 weeks; it also went to No. 1 in eight other countries and, to date, has reached total album sales of over 12 million.
