Changing Colours features 17 tracks, including the Saskatoon group’s brand new single “I’ve Got a Hole Where My Heart Should Be.” Of the new album, the band notes “This album has a much wider range of sounds on it: trombone, clarinet, latin percussion, pedal steel, fiddle and banjo all make an appearance. The title Changing Colours really lends itself to these different sounds on the record.” They continue “We were also lucky to work with newcomer Jim Bowskill whose guitar wizardry is almost outshone by his fine mandolin playing and singing.” The Sheepdogs have seen enormous support from Canadian radio with four of their singles reaching the top spot on the radio charts, and three achieving top five status. On top of the huge radio success, “I Don’t Know” has been certified Platinum and both “The Way It Is” and “Feeling Good” have achieved Gold status. In addition to their singles success, their albums Learn & Burn and The Sheepdogs have also achieved Platinum and Gold status respectively. The Sheepdogs have also been nominated for seven Juno Awards, including receiving Rock Album of the Year nominations for their three latest studio albums.
